Marilyn Oisten

Marilyn Louise (Coulvt) Oisten, age 80, of Allegan, MI passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2022, at Bronson Hospital surrounded by the love of her family. She was born June 27, 1941, in Otsego, Michigan, to the late Louis and Lucille (Miller) Coulvt. Marilyn worked for over 30 years as a cook at Warner Camp and was a teacher's aide for many years at Head Start of Allegan. Marilyn loved to travel, do word search books and puzzles, go blueberry picking, and bake. She had a very big spirit and an even bigger heart. She is survived by her loving husband, Chester Leo Oisten of Allegan; son, Chet Oisten of Pullman; grandchildren, Holly Oisten of Kalamazoo, Kenneth Oisten of Pullman, Dale Loucks of Allegan, and Tabatha Peyre of Hillsdale; and great-grandchildren, Randall, Kaleya, and Patience; and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucille; stepfather, Laverne; two daughters, Kim and Cheryl; and sister, Diane Colvault. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Otsego Church of God, 112 Kalamazoo Street, Otsego, MI 49078.
