Marilyn Louise (Frank) Lindberry, age 82, of Grand Rapids, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 28, 2020. She was born November 9, 1938, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Herman and Illa (Bosworth) Frank. Marilyn graduated from J.W. Sexton High School. She married Jerry Lindberry and together they raised two sons and celebrated 30 years of marriage together. Marilyn worked at Heather Hills Nursing Home for many years as a chef and finally retired at age 78.
She was a woman that devoted her life to her faith and family; she was a member of Northlawn United Methodist Church. It was of great importance that her children and grandchildren knew and had a relationship with the Lord. Marilyn loved to laugh and enjoyed nature, especially taking long walks everyday at Riverside Park. She had the utmost love for her children and grandchildren and adored all of her extended family and friends.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Stephen (Brenda Flory) Lindberry and Andrew (Tiffany) Lindberry; grandsons, Codey and Logan Lindberry; brothers, Les and Stanley Frank; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Jerry.
Per Marilyn's wishes cremation has taken place and service plans will be announced as soon as they become available.
