Marian Curtis

Mrs. Marian N. Curtis, age 82, formerly of Turk Lake, passed away Tuesday afternoon, June 26, 2007 at Spectrum Health United Memorial-United Campus, Greenville. The daughter of Murl C. & Betty E. (Blucis) Bogert, she was born on March 1, 1925 in Grand Rapids. On Sept. 9, 1955, in Grand Rapids, she married Robert E. Curtis. For many years, she assisted in the office of the family lumberyard and concrete business, H.A. Curtis & Sons. Together, she and Bob enjoyed traveling throughout the United States... especially California. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 45 years, Robert E. Bob Curtis on Jan. 7, 2000; a sister, Shirley Coburn; and siblings-in-law, Frederick Coburn, William Curtis, Archie & Arlene Curtis, and Edward Schultheiss Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Murl & Donna Bogert of Comstock Park; a sister-in-law, Helen Schultheiss of Oregon; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
