Margaret Sherman

Margaret Ann (Armstrong) Sherman, age 91, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022. She was born January 30, 1931, in Grand Rapids, to the late Howard and Ethel (Lambert) Armstrong. Margaret met the love of her life, Leon Sherman while in high school at Catholic Central in Grand Rapids. They married in 1950 and in their 66 years together until Lee's death in 2016, raised their children (both biological and children of their heart): Cynthia Lee Powell who was recently deceased), Patrick and Vicki, David and Sherri, Luanne and Dan DeBaar, Robert and Lisetta, Lila Snider and Sherry Davis. They were able to meet 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Margaret spent many happy days camping and at the beach during her life. She loved the color pink and baking cookies. She loved having all the family together for Christmas Eve. She will be missed from our lives. Per her wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
