Margaret Cross

Margaret Ann Cross, 64, of Lawrence, passed away on June 16th, 2019. Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois to Ray and Gloria Hynes on October 8th,1954. She graduated from Paw Paw High School. Margaret married Tom Cross on August 13, 1994 in Lawrence. She worked as a Secretary for Van Buren/Cass District Health Department for 35 years. Margaret enjoyed crafting, fishing, morel hunting, cutting wood with her husband and most of all, spoiling her grandchildren. She was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she opened her heart to so many people over the years and she will be sorely missed. Margaret is preceded in death by Ray and Gloria Hynes, Janet Hynes and Joe Hynes. Margaret is survived by her husband, Thomas Cross; children, Jason Smith, and Jessica Ozanich; brother, Jim Hynes; and grandchildren, Samantha, Raegan, Kaitlyn, Kayleigh, and Isabella. A memorial service will be held on July 7th, 2019, from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, 7000 N. Westnedge Ave, Kalamazoo, 49009.
