Margaret Bacon

Margaret Ann Bacon, 73, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital. The daughter of William & Clara (Varro) McKellar, she was born May 7, 1944 in Flint, where she was raised. She was a longtime resident of the Okemos and Lansing area. Margaret was a loving mother of daughter, Debi Sapolin; and son, Jeff & Mary Bacon. She was cherished by her grandson's, Jacob Sapolin, Alec Sapolin, Carter Bacon, and Jack Bacon. She is survived by brother, Bill & Cletis McKellar; nephew, Billy McKellar; and niece, Christy Canaday. She was preceded in death by her sister, Katherine Foley and nephew, David McKellar. Margaret was a loving mother of daughter, Debi Sapolin; and son, Jeff & Mary Bacon. She was cherished by her grandson's, Jacob Sapolin, Alec Sapolin, Carter Bacon, and Jack Bacon.
