Marcia Scoby

Maria Scoby, age 74 joined the lord after a long fight with cancer on March 29th, 2014. Born on December 17th, 1939, Maria is survived by her wonderful husband Bob whom spent an amazing 57 years together. She left behind 3 children and 5 beautiful grandchildren. Bob (Deb), Doug (Kathy), Joan (Roger) Mollema. Shannon (Jeff) Trautz, Jill, Michelle, Sanzhar, and Aigerim. She is also survived by her sister Arlene (John) Sella, brother in-law Hank Vanderlaan, and several nieces and nephews. Maria was preceded in death by her parents, Everett and Cornelia Rietman, and her sister Esther Vanderlaan. Early on Maria had a love for skydiving, camping and traveling. After 16 years of service with United Parcel she retired, after which she discovered she had quite the talent for painting and quilting. Maria, you will be truly, truly missed by all who knew you, and live on in our hearts forever. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place.
