Marcia Schutter

Marcia Jean Schutter, age 81, of Hudsonville, MI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born October 2, 1941, in Hudsonville, to the late John and Jessie (Hoek) Bosgraaf. She married Jim Schutter after graduating from Unity Christian High School. Marcia worked many years for Grand Valley State University as the assistant to the registrar. Survivors include her two sons, Bob (Pam) Schutter and Bruce Schutter; grandchildren, Sarah (Brugess) Renkema, Aaron (Lynnea) Schutter, and Chelsea Schutter; and great-grandchildren, Kadence Renkema, Brennan Renkema, and Jack Caruso. Per Marcia's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal services will be held at this time. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at Sheldon Meadows Assisted Living and Spectrum Health Hospice for their help and care throughout this difficult time.
