Manuel Falcon, age 87, of Holland, Michigan and previously of Almo Gordo, New Mexico passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2025. He was the youngest of 9 children born at the family home in Jamestown Township, Michigan, to Miguel Falcon and Victoria Moreno, on November 2, 1937. Manuel was a very social person who never met a stranger. He could make friends no matter where he was and had the funniest laugh. Manuel was a very independent and strong-willed man. It was always important to him that his family was well mannered and kind to others. Manuel will be greatly missed by all of his “Brats” and will forever be remembered for having the best “dad jokes.”
Survivors include his daughters, Frances (Julian) Arriola and Erika Vazquez; 10 grandchildren, Gisela, Cassandra, Sonia (Edgar), Josefina, Vicente, Eliza, Armando, Alyssa (Martin), Angel, and Adrian; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rebecca Parsons; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Victoria (Juan) Castaneda; father, Miguel Falcon; son, Dirk C Falcon; and many brothers and sisters.
Per his wishes cremation has taken place and his cremated remains will be buried at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, August, MI, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. with military honors rendered by the United States Army and Fort Custer National Cemetery Volunteer Honor Guard.
