Manne Gonsalves

Emanuel F. "Manne" Gonsalves, age 90, of Kalamazoo passed away Friday morning, January 1, 2010 at Laurels of Galesburg. The only son of Manoel E. and Mary D. Gonsalves, he was born September 17, 1919 in New York City. He graduated from Michigan State College following discharge from the US Army following WW II. His business career was spent in sales with several companies, and he retired from Montgomery Ward. He had been married to Fra Gonsalves and Agnes Gonsalves, both of whom are deceased. Survivors include a daughter, Fra (Skip) Wellman of Portage, and a son, W. Bradley Gonsalves of Columbus, IN, along with three grandchildren. At his request, no services will be held.
