Madeline "Midge" Faith LaGrow, age 73, of Reed City, passed away Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her son Nicholas Richard LaGrow, sisters Mary Hammock and Gayle Zierleyn, nephew Phillip Knapp, grandma Bonnie Spoffard and great nephew Trinity Theodore Mark Nichols.

The daughter of Peter Earles & Donna Zierleyn, she was born on March 29, 1944 in Reed City. Madeline is survived by her daughter Midge J (Jennifer) LaGrow, granddaughter Samantha Knapp, great grandson Jaxon Theodore Heiman, granddaughter Macayla, grandson Hunter, sister Claudia Nichols, nephew Michael Christopher (Elizabeth) Lin Kuhn, niece Cricket-Marie (Justin) Keathley, niece Krystalynn (Wayne Peterson) LaGrow, niece Kendrah Spoffard, niece-in-law Margie Knapp as well as many great nieces and great nephews.
Midge was a wonderful, giving and loving person. After the loss of her son in 2008, she traveled with her best guy, Thomas Simmons. Then over the last 7 years, she dedicated her life to helping others as a Guardian over 4 other individuals. She was well respected within the community and loved by many. Midge also loved her family at the New Beginnings Fellowship Church in Reed City.
The Celebration of Life will be held at the New Beginnings Fellowship Chuch in Reed City on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 5p-6p and dinner will we served 6p-8p.
