Luella Marie VanEck

Luella Marie (Corwin-Hill) VanEck, age 78, of Rockford, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Intersect Health Care of Belding under the care of Quality Care Hospice. She was born December 13, 1946, in Sheridan, MI, to the late Olin Elmer and Betty Marie (Haines) Corwin. Luella was preceded in death by her parents and baby sister, Joyce Elaine Corwin.

She was survived by her children, James Olin Hill, Tina Marie (Hill) Cole, and Donald Arthur VanEck; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

Luella drove for Hope Network for over 22 years until her retirement. She had a passion for cooking, the outdoors, birds, and playing bingo. She was an animal lover, especially of horses and dogs. Luella was always willing to help anyone in need with her generous and caring heart.

Per Luella’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
