Luella Dahn, age 80, of Oakfield Township, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 6, 2005 at Metron of Belding. The daughter of Ollie C. & Elsie M. (Clark) Scroggins, she was born on March 16, 1925 in Casey, Arkansas. On Sept. 24, 1945, in Danville, Arkansas, she married Frank J. Dahn. For over 20 years Luella was the cook at the HiDelight restaurant in Greenville and enjoyed quilting, tending her flower beds, and her fishing trips to Canada. She had attended Liberty Baptist Church in Greenville.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Frank J. Dahn on Oct. 2, 1991; a daughter, Carol Anthony, and a son-in-law, James Allen. Surviving are her second husband, John C. Dahn; a daughter, Evelyn Allen, all of Cedar Springs; several brothers and sisters; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-seven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
