Louis Weimer

Louis J. Weimer, age 61, of Holland MI, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Louis J. Weimer, born Oct. 30, 1955 to Lucille and Jacob Weimer. Louis married Nancy Forsten and had 5 beautiful children. Louis loved to spend most of his time in nature, camping and with his family. He struggled through his life suffering from mental illness and addiction but was still a loving father and good friend through it. He is remembered for his sense of humor, quiet reserve, and his love for his daughters. Surviving family include: his daughters; CheyAnne Russell, Kyla & Matt Bullers, Melanie & Edwardo Fuentes, Alicia & Curtis Mulder, his grandchildren; Rivir, Zoe, and Elijah Bullers, Ethan Russell and Kali Weimer, former wife Nancy Forsten, brother Robert & Judy Weimer and many other family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Jacob and Lucille Weimer, brother John Weimer and son Nathan Hemmes. We are blessed for all the years we had with him. He will be deeply missed. Much appreciation and gratitude to Spectrum Health Hospice for their support and care during this difficult time. Service to be held Tuesday, June 20 at First Baptist Church of Holland, 1066 E. 8th St. With a 5pm Visitation and 6pm Service, food and fellowship following. Cremation to take place, arrangements entrusted to Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
