It is with great sadness that we announce that Lorice Lynn Smith, age 70, of Holland, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022. She was born on August 29, 1951, Kalamazoo to Bernie & Marilyn (Burkett) VanderMolen. Lori was married for 44 years to her best friend and the love of her life, Lynn Smith. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening, researching genealogy, watching football, traveling and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Lynn S. Smith; children, Jessica and Luke VanderWal, and Travis and Heather Hersch-Smith; grandchildren, Owen and Emmalyn VanderWal, Alex and Adalyn Hersch; siblings, Terry and Linda VanderMolen, and Shelly and Rick Gibson.
