Mrs. Loretta A. Wilson, age 91, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday morning, December 7, 2010, at Green Acres Retirement Living, where she had made her home the past three years.
The daughter of Darwin & Ila (Bisard) Egolf, she was born on March 30, 1919 and grew up in the Fremont and Grant area. Loretta retired from Federal-Mogul where she worked as an inspector for 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, and gardening.
On Feb. 26, 1938, in Angola, Indiana, she married Lester Lee Wilson and together they enjoyed 54 years of marriage until Lester passed away on September 9, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Edna Egolf; and a brother, Francis Buck Egolf.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Madelyn & Gary Keselring of Greenville; two grandsons, Steven & Stacie Keselring of Cedar Springs, and David Keselring of Greenville; four great-grandchildren, Leslie Keselring of Owosso, Justin Keselring, Jordan Keselring, and Tyler Keselring, all of Greenville; a brother, James Egolf of Florida; a sister, Donna Evans of Flint; a sister-in-law, Norine Wilson of Middleville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 6-7 p.m. on Thursday at the Christiansen Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Burial will take place privately at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
