Lois Miller

Lois Lee Miller, age 69, of Hersey, Michigan, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025 at home under the loving care of her family and Corewell Health Hospice. The daughter of Ernest & Louise (Malcolm) Trombley, she was born on June 20, 1955 in Flint, Michigan. On April 16, 1982, she married Robert "Rob" Miller, and together they spent forty-three years happily married as soulmates and best friends. Lois was a creative force, finding joy in her crafts and in expressing her unique vision through the creation of decorated hats and beautiful paintings. She had an innate ability to find beauty in the simplest of things, transforming ordinary objects into extraordinary pieces of art. Her love for nature was evident in her passion for fishing and the tranquil evenings she spent watching the campfire, a sight that always filled her with peace and wonder. Lois moved from Flint to Grand Rapids in 1960, and later to Hersey, Michigan, where she filled her home with the same love and creativity that she brought to her crafts. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest & Louise. She is survived by her husband, Rob; two daughters, Stacey (Hersh) & Jason Bosch, and Dorothy (Hersh) Mclain; three grandchildren, BobbyJo Bosch & special friend, Mike Cahill, Justyne (Bosch) & Grant Harshberger, and Tiffany Rose Mclain; six great-grandchildren, Otto Harshberger, Sawyer Harshberger, Isaiah Harshberger, Duncan Harshberger, Yovanny Mendoza-Bosch, and Fernanda Mendoza-Bosch; her brother and friend, James Trombley; and many beloved pets, notably Jack and Maizey. A private celebration of life will be held later. Instead of flowers, Lois would have appreciated contributions in her memory to Corewell Health Hospice and Palliative Care West Michigan.
