Lois Dittrich

Lois Marie Dittrich, 80, passed away Sunday morning, February 3, 2019 at home, under the care of Great Lakes Caring Hospice, with her family by her side. The daughter of William & Margaret (Inman) Burt, she was born September 16, 1938 in Traverse City. Sewing and quilting were her passion. Her quilts were beautiful and will be cherished always by her children. Lois was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Brown; brother, Eugene; sister-in-law, Reba; and Richard Dittrich. Survived by daughters, Ann (Brad) Ghent, Donna (Kevin) Curtiss; sons, Michael (Carrie) Brown, and Patrick (Leann) Brown; brothers, George Smith, Ron (Candy) Burt, and Ken (Marie) Burt; grandchildren, Matthew Wilbur, Jenni Worth, Brandi McBride, Jamie Nardone, Anthony Nardone, Michael Curtiss, Brandon Brown, Joseph Brown, Corey Brown, Trinity Brown and Coby Brown. She also leaves behind great grandchildren and a special friend, Ila McDiarmid. Many friends will miss her greatly. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
