Lloyd Cope,

Lloyd Eugene "George" Cope, Jr., age 60, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Metron of Greenville with his family by his side. The son of Lloyd Eugene & Linda Lucille (Roger) Cope, Sr., he was born on May 22, 1959. George was a collector, ultimate deal maker at flea markets and yard sales, but most importantly a true friend. His goal in life was to bring joy to other people and make them smile. Surviving are his mother, Linda Cope; four siblings, Danny Cope, Gregory Cope, Rick Cope, and Deb & Mike Butler; his aunts and uncles, Sandra & Gary Strouse, Mike Roger, Mary & John Maule, Hazel Smith, Mary Stidham, Gerald Lake, and Laura Forest; his cousins, Tim Hansen, Gertrude Massey, Connie Lang, Charlie Hansen, Shane Hansen, John Campbell, Pat Roger, Mike Roger; his nephew, Danny & Jen Young; his niece, Kathy Tripp and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Eugene Cope, Sr.; his twin sister, Linda; his aunts, Lois Wilson, Janette Roger; and uncles, Dan Roger, Virgal Cope, and Larry Cope. A celebration of George's life will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2019 at the Montcalm Township Hall, 1880 S. Greenville Road (M-91), Greenville.
