Lisa Ann Scheltema, age 59, of Wayland, passed away September 30, 2020 at Metro Health: University of Michigan Hospital in Wyoming. The daughter of John Gregory & Marilyn Joyce (Wheaton) Rapp, she was born on July 21, 1961 in High Point, North Carolina. A devoted mother and grandmother, Lisa found her greatest joy in caring for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, John Rapp; and a brother, Gregory Rapp. Surviving is her mother, Marilyn Rapp; her children, Angela & Freddy DuBois of Caledonia, Michigan, Ashleigh & Adam Duck of Wayland, Michigan, and David & Alena Dohm of Grand Rapids, Michigan; five grandchildren, Zachary DuBois, Jasmyn DuBois, Aiden DuBois, Liam Duck, and Jaxton Duck; a great-grandson, Zaiden Hardy-DuBois; four brothers and sisters, Gail Rapp of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Mitchell & Cindee Rapp of Louisville, Kentucky, Brian & Kellie Rapp of Middleville, Michigan, and Kimm Dilly of Chandler, Arizona; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services are being planned and will be announced at a later date.
