Lisa Marie King, age 54, of Greenville, passed away Friday morning, January 13, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The daughter of Robert & Elizabeth Ann (Swaygner) Strecker, she was born on January 15, 1968 in Grand Rapids. On December 5, 1998, in Greenville, she married Randy Clayton King and together they enjoyed over 24 years of marriage. Lisa earned two associate's degrees from Montcalm Community College and worked as a daycare teacher at Johnson's Daycare in Greenville. She enjoyed handicrafts, cooking, and baking, but her life revolved around children -- at home and at work -- and she delighted in time spent with her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law, Larry W. King, Sr. Surviving are her husband, Randy King of Greenville; her children, Michael & Amanda Blair of Vestaburg, and Serenity & Timothy Maynard of Wyoming; four granddaughters, Amelia Lee Blair, Margaret Mepham, Emma Marie Maynard, and Hazel Marie Maynard. She looked forward to the birth of her first grandson, William Wayne Maynard in June of 2023. Also surviving are two brothers and a sister, Rob Strecker of Six Lakes, Sherry & James Ferguson of Ionia, and Frank & Dawn Strecker of Sheridan; her mother-in-law, Mildred King of Greenville; several siblings-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Lisa's life beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the McBride Village Hall on Wyman Road in McBride.
