Lewis Schultz

Lewis Floyd William Schutz, age 74, passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2022, at his home. He was born to Lee & Marion (Swigers) Schultz, in Reed City, on January 5, 1948. He attended Reed City High. Lewis enlisted in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Sar. When he returned, he drove trucks for Houseman Trucking, Duddes Tree Farm, Burk Forest Products, Donley Trucking and Steelcase of Grand Rapids. Survivors include his siblings, Lena Yarrington of Parish, John (Pam) Schultz of Reed City and Wanda (Fred) Kailing; significant other, Zana Curtis and her children and grandchildren, Alex, David, Aiden and Anyia who he thought of as his own; and several nieces and nephews. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and private services will be held in the spring.
