Leon Parker

Leon Parker (LD) , 86, of Sand Lake, MI passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. Leon grew up in Sand Lake, a town he loved and never left. He worked and retired from Dykema Excavators or 30 years. His farm and tractors were his life collection, and he spent every chance enjoying them. He was an exceptional gardener. He was good at playing Eucher, and made sure everyone knew it. His personality was like no other, always quick to tease you just for a reaction and a laugh. LD will be dearly missed and always remembered. LD was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; and son Gene. He is survived by his sons, Jeff and Jamie; grandchildren, Tyllor, Tayllor, Trenton, Tanner and Trinity. There are many more family members that loved and will dearly miss him. LD requested a celebration of life be held in his honor. We request all of LD’s loved ones and friends to join us in celebrating his life on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at the Pierson Hall (red barn).
