Leon Johnson

Leon Larry Johnson, age 85, of Evart, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6, 2020. He was born on October 22, 1934, in Holly, Michigan to the late Leon and Bertha (Weller) Johnson. Leon proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Norma Jane Vollen on July 17, 1959, in Imlay City, Michigan. They had four children and were able to celebrate 60 years of marriage together before Leon passed away. Leon is survived by Norma, their four children, and their families. Per Leon's wishes cremation has taken place. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids, MI, exclusive providers of Veterans Funeral Care.
