Leo Clarke

Leo C. "Skip" Clarke, age 81, of Harbor Beach, passed away Saturday morning, May 1, 2010, at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City. Born on June 25, 1928 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Mr. Clarke was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Following the war he came to Detroit and worked for the Chrysler Corporation. In retirement he made his home in Harbor Beach and spent the winter months on Anna Maria Island in Florida. Surviving are his beloved wife, Patricia (Boissoneau) Clarke; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack & Dean Clarke; a sister-in-law, Betty Swantek; a very special cousin, Jerry & Lillian Chermak; and a host of nieces and nephews who adored their "Uncle Skippy". The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, Harbor Beach. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit.
