Leland Edward “Lee” Barber, age 74, of Greenville, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at his home. The son of Frederick Edward & Mazie Dell (Ridgeway) Barber, he was born on July 26, 1951 in Lakeview, Michigan.

On October 13, 1973, he married the former Laura Ethel Johnson and together they enjoyed nearly 51 years of marriage until Laura passed away on August 30, 2024. Lee retired from the former Electrolux Home Products in Greenville and had been a member of United Auto Workers Local No. 137 and attended Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Barber on March 18, 1963; his mother, Mazie Barber on February 20, 1996; a sister, Mazie Latham; and a brother, Jack Cook.

Surviving are his step-children, Rick & Peggy Campbell, Wayne & Becky Witzel, Angela & John Vincent, and Barbara & Mark Vincent; fourteen grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Lee’s life beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at 810 W. Dodge Street, Greenville (across the street from Calvary Baptist Church’s “Midtown” location where you are welcome to park).
