Lawrence Halfen

Lawrence N. Halfen, age 73, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016. The son of Lawrence & Viola (Marks) Halfen, he was born on April 18, 1943 in Marinette, Wisconsin. He was preceded in passing by his parents. Larry is survived by his wife, Judy; his two sons, Michael and Bill; brothers, Norman, Terry, Fred, and Jerry. In addition, he leaves behind numerous friends and colleagues, past and present. Larry was a lover of classical music and is remembered by many for his great intellect, dry sense of humor, his great love of animals over many years and specifically at the time of his passing, his Scottish Terriers, Tank and Solitaire.
