Lawrence Gard

Lawrence E. Gard, age 61, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Six Lakes, passed away Friday morning, Aug. 21, 2009 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. He was a veteran who proudly served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Geraldine Gard. Surviving are two sons, Cody J. Gard of Grand Rapids and Jeremy L. Gard and wife, Brandee of Barryton, MI; and his three grandchildren, Braylon, Erika and Madisyn. Honoring his wishes cremation will take place and memorial services are being planned.
