Lawrence Acton

Lawrence (Larry) Earl Acton, 82, of Newaygo, Michigan passed away on May 10, 2021, with his wife by his side. In his younger years Larry served his country in the United States Navy. After his service, in 1960 he married his wife, Carol West. He then worked for General Motors until his retirement, at which time he and Carol joined Roving Volunteers in Christ's Service (RVICS) and spent their next 17+ years serving their Lord & Savior Jesus Christ across the United States. Larry is survived by his wife Carol of 61 years, children Debra (Dave) Berger, Lawrence Acton, Shelly (John) Mason, John (Bethany) Acton, 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Services to celebrate Larry's life will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, June 5, 2021, at Newaygo First Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Shaw & Rev. John Fields officiating.
