LaVerne Margaret Shawl, age 82, of Caledonia, passed away Monday evening, November 7, 2011 under the loving care of her family and Spectrum Health Hospice at Foster's Adult Foster Care Home in Caledonia. The daughter of Frank & Margaret (Stefani) Supansic, she was born on October 31, 1929 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Davis Shawl She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah J. & Dennis C. Schall, of Caledonia. Services and burial will take place at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Arrangements were entrusted to the Michigan Cremation Company, Grand Rapids.
