Larry Toneff

Larry Norman Toneff, age 82, of Grandville, Michigan passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019. A celebration memorial service and family visitation is planned on Thursday December 5 from 11am - 2pm at Marge's Donut Den located at 1751 28th St SW, Wyoming, MI 49519. For almost 50 years Larry spent much of his time at Marge's, his second home. Pastor Rick South of Wyoming Abundant Life Church will be officiating. Service will be promptly at 11am. Celebration and visitation with family will follow until 2pm. Family and friends are encouraged to visit and have a favorite "old fashioned" donut. Parking is limited, so family and visitors are encouraged to carpool, park out back of the Den, or on a nearby side street. Larry was born in Toledo, Ohio on August 6, 1937. He served in the United States Marine Corp in the 1950's. Larry was married to Mary C. Strek on November 21, 1972; they were married 49 years. Larry worked as a Maintenance Technician for Godfrey-Lee Public schools for 13 years, and he drove school bus for Freedom Baptist School in Hudsonville for 5 years. He loved to fish, and he was a regular visitor and friend to many at Marge's Donut Den in Wyoming. Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary; son, John (Lorie) Collier; daughter, Micki Dusendang; grandchildren, Misty (Carl) Brooks and Joshua (Sara) Piper; several great grand-children, Max, Avery, MacKenzie, Lex, and Jade; and other family and relatives. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Abundant Life Church in Wyoming, Michigan. Personal cards and well wishes to Mary Toneff and family can also be sent.
