Lafrance Bresson

LaFrance Bresson, age 88, of Galesburg, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2020. He was born August 26, 1931, in Galesburg, to the late Neil and Iva (Barber) Bresson. La France worked as an auto-mechanic during the 1950's and 60's and retired from Aeromotive as an inspector after working with the company for over 25 years. He married Kathaleen A. Deforest on October 11, 1995. La France loved collecting boats, riding motorcycles, and was an avid antiquer and was known for finding "rusty gold." Survivors include his wife, Kathy; children, Thomas (Jill) Bresson, Yvonne Sackett; and Kathy (Mike) Stokes; stepsons, Jeff, Todd, and Chad Arnold; sister, Madeline Hoppie; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. La France was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marceline (Day) Sellers; son-in-law, Steve Sackett; and siblings, Milton Bresson, Frans Bresson, and Nettie Ashby.
