Kimberly Kaye Carpenter

Kimberly Kaye Carpenter, age 65, of Wayland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2025, at her residence. 

Kimberly was a woman whose heart was as warm as the places she loved most. She found peace and happiness when vacationing by the ocean, warm weather, and days spent at the beach. Yet nothing brought her more joy than Christmas, her favorite holiday. She loved decorating her home with all things Christmas, creating a space filled with light, warmth, and love for her family to gather and celebrate. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Joan Moore; her stepfather, Harvey Moore; her sister, Pamela Smith; and her father, Nathan Williams Sr.

 Kimberly is survived by her loving husband, Richard Carpenter; her cherished daughters, Stephanie Williams (husband Brian Williams), Samantha Mead (husband Dennis Mead), Katlyne Orr, Tami Collins, and Carie Powers; her grandchildren, Taylor Collins, Damian Breen, Mikayla Breen, Selena Skiba, Madison Powers, Regan Mead, Declan Mead, Kennedi Williams, Liam Jewett, and Harper Schubert; her great-grandchildren, Emma Skiba and Bo Breen; and her brother, Nathan Williams Jr., and his wife Paula Williams. 

Kimberly will be remembered for her loving heart, her generous spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcome. Her laughter, kindness, and deep devotion to her family will continue to live on in the many lives she touched. Her life was one of love, family, and celebration—and that is how she will always be remembered.
