Kevin Wade Newton of Vermontville passed away on October 19, 2026, leaving behind a family and many friends who loved him.
Kevin is the son of Frances and Barbara Newton, who had their hands full raising five boys: Doug, Rob, Gary, Terry, and Kevin.
Kevin married Sandy Davis, and together they had four children. Later in life, Kevin welcomed two more children with Dawn Price.
Kevin was the proud father of Amy LaDere (Rick), Joseph LaDere, Nicole Coker (Josh), Tia Bell (Josh), Jessica Price (Eric), and Destiny Newton. Three were bonus children, but Kevin never saw it that way. If you asked him, they were all his. Kevin’s greatest joy was his children, and his pride only grew with every grandchild.
Kevin loved nothing more than camping with family and friends and riding his Harley with his favorite biker princess on the back. He was part of the Wild Injuns biker club and formed a lasting brotherhood with riders in other clubs. Whether around a campfire or out on the open road, he treasured the memories made with the people he loved.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Frances and Barbara; his brother Rob; mother-in-law June Davis; and his special friend, Dawn Price.
Kevin is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Kevin’s love was never limited. He loved big, built a family bigger than anyone could count. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
The family invites everyone to celebrate Kevin’s life with one last meal and “love ya, later” on him.
