Kevin Fish

Kevin Travis Fish, age 57, left this earthly home and is in the presence of his Heavenly Father after passing away peacefully in his sleep, on April 22, 2019. Kevin was a man of strong faith with a grateful, loving heart. He was a true friend whose heartwarming smile and ever-present sense of humor made him a joy to be around. Secure in his own personal relationship with Christ, he took great pleasure in studying and exploring the Word of God, and was devoted to his church. Most of all, he loved his family. An outdoorsman with a deep appreciation of nature, Kevin loved to golf and was a talented photographer. He also loved music and was always happy to share his skills whenever friends asked him to deejay for their special events. He enjoyed a successful career in the mortgage industry and was a natural-born salesman. Now reunited in the spiritual world with his beloved father, Marvin Fish, mother, Shirley Norton and stepfather Dave Norton, his joy "we can only imagine." Those left behind to miss his "Kevin-isms" include his wife, Micah Blount-Fish, stepchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Morgan and Michael Shepard, Maranda (Cameron) Tolsma, along with his brother, Paul (Julie) Burch, Jr., sisters Brenda Kain and Karen (Kurt) Hastings, step-siblings Julie (PJ) Banfill, Pat (Ranae) Norton, and Tom Norton, along with several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, and an extended family that includes Paul (Rosie) Burch, Lori (Royce) Parker, and Pattie (Al) VanDenBeldt. The family would especially like to thank Dawn and Reggie, volunteers with the Victim Services Unit, Kent County Sheriff Office, as well as all of the responding officers for the compassionate help and guidance they so graciously provided. Visitation is from 2-3 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2019 at Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Ave. S.E. at 36th Street (one block west of Eastern Ave.), Grand Rapids, where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
