Kerry Reed

Kerry Walter Reed, of Grant, peacefully passed away on his 79th birthday, January 24, 2025, after a courageous battle with liver cancer. Born on January 24, 1946, in Muskegon, MI, to Walter & Stephanie (Mišović) Reed, Kerry's life was a testament to his strength and resilience. He married Colleen Kay Cunningham on January 23, 1964, in Muskegon, MI, and they shared 57 incredible years together, raising three children and creating a legacy of love. Kerry's passion for life was evident in his love for working on cars, riding his Harley, tending to the fish in his pond and spending time with family and friends. His memory will live on through his children, Kerry Lee (Jennifer) Reed, Shawn Del Reed, and Sharlyn Dee (Michael) Sima, as well as his sister, Beverly Kozik, 9 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a niece and nephews. Kerry is proceeded in death by his father Walter Reed, his mother Stephanie Reed and his beautiful wife, Colleen Reed. Though his passing leaves a void, his family finds comfort in knowing he is reunited with his love again, Colleen Reed.
