Kenneth Jones

Kenneth Wayne Kenny Jones, age 40, of Greenville, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 30, 2012 at Metron of Greenville. Born on May 8, 1972, in Grand Rapids, with multiple health and developmental challenges, Kenny lived a life full of love and warmth. Besides the love of his Momma, he responded to those with kind hearts by sharing his beautiful smile. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carl Cory in 1995; his grandmother, Bertie Cory in 2005; an uncle, Ron Cory in 1982; and by an aunt, Nancy Thompson in 2012. Surviving are his mother and step-father, Barbara & Stan McMeeken of Greenville; a brother, Jim Jones of Grand Rapids; aunts and uncles, Pat & Ron Flashaar of Greenville, Deb & Paul Thornton of Fenwick, and Carla & Dee Burnett of Greenville; many cousins; and several special caregivers. Visitation is Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Mike Haefner of the First Congregational Church will officiate, and graveside committal services will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.
