Kenneth James Gillman, age 74, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at his home under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The youngest of fourteen children of Lester & Eleanor (Middleton) Gillman, he was born on May 13, 1948 in Monitor Township near Bay City, Michigan.
On June 28, 1987, in Vickeryville, he married Brenda Lee Ralph and together they enjoyed 35 years of marriage, raised seven children, and attended the Greenville First United Methodist Church.
Ken retired from the former Electrolux Home Products, where he worked as a welder in repair, after 40 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars, hunting, was always willing to help others, but most of all delighted in spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; thirteen brothers and sisters; and a great-granddaughter, Oakleigh Beemer.
Surviving are his wife, Brenda Gillman of Greenville; their children, Greg & Tina Gillman, Blake & Julie Gillman, Nicole & Shawn Drake, Jennifer & William Beemer, Megan Uhrich & Mark Nobis, Margo Gillman & Talon Alexander, and Sara & Robert Butler; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022 at Christiansen's Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, and from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church, 204 W. Cass Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The Rev. Jeff Williams, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will follow at Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding. Instead of flowers, Ken would have appreciated contributions in his memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital (https://www.stjude.org/).
