Kenith Preston,

Kenith Huffmaster Preston, Sr., age 80, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 in Belding under the loving care of his family and Spectrum Health Hospice. The son of Cecil Hall & Lucille (Oliver) Preston, he was born on May 7, 1936 in Freeport. On June 10, 1961 in Argentine, Michigan, he married Madeline Carol Promenchenkel and together they shared almost 56 years together. Ken was always busy and enjoyed tinkering with cars, western movies and country music. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gilbert; and a sister, Margaret. Surviving are his loving wife, Madeline; their six children, Kenith & Janis Preston, Jr. of Crystal, Donald & Laura Preston of Flint, Vickie Moore of Sidney, Elvis & Peggy Preston of Fenwick, George Smith of Greenville and Meshele & Keith Gotwalt of Sidney; thirteen grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lilah Robinson of Hastings and Deb Smith of Woodland; and several nieces and nephews and friends.
