Kelly Horger

Kelly Lynn Horger, aged 42, passed away at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital on July 19, 2022, in the presence of her closest friends and family. She was born in Punxsatawney, PA to Thomas and Juanita Verschueren on January 7, 1980. Kelly had faced so many tragedies in her life, each one making her come out stronger in the end. Most times you wouldn't even know her pain because she lived to make everyone else happy and smile, and she never failed to do so. She was a mom, a grandma and a best friend to so many. Her love for music was nearly unmatched. No matter what kind of mood she was in any time she pulled up to your house she had the radio blaring singing at the top of her lungs without a care in the world. There was no genre of music that she couldn't find at least one song that she absolutely loved and her energy was at 1000 at all times. Kelly was the kind of person that you could depend on to be there for you no matter what the circumstances. If you called her she would be there no questions asked. She had a heart of gold with the purest intentions. When she loved, she loved hard. She was an animal lover. All animals were her friend whether they liked her or not and she would go to the end of the world to protect or save any animal she came across. There was never a child that didn't love her. She would always say "Even if you invite me to a party you can most likely always find me where the kids are". She brought so much joy into so many children's lives including her grand children. Kelly was so loved by many and will be missed dearly. She is survived by her daughters, Zoey Frasier and Nikki (Juan) Morales; son, Adam Frasier; 4 grandchildren, Rylee, Bellamy, Ella and Ronin Morales; mother, Juanita Verschueren; sisters, Eva, Tina and Bonnie; brothers, Thomas and Mark; and many nieces and nephews. She's preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Horger; father, Thomas Verschueren; and her pups, Mocha and Doobie. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Whispering Oaks Campground, 8586 M-37, Baldwin, MI 49304.
