Born on December 29, 1956 in Hawaii, Kelly was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Air Force where he received an Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. Committal services, with military honors, are at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, Michigan.
