Kelli Joi Hamilton

Kelli Hamilton, 55, of Cedar Springs, Michigan, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2025, after a courageous nine-month battle with cancer, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on January 22, 1970, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Kelli was the beloved daughter of the late Phyllis Mull. From an early age, she brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone she met. She grew into a woman of extraordinary heart—compassionate, resilient, and endlessly giving.

Kelli’s life was a beautiful blend of strength and tenderness. She devoted herself wholeheartedly to her family, finding her greatest joy in her role as a mother, wife, friend, and sister. She is survived by her husband, David, 61; her daughter, Jessica, 31; and her son, Joshua, 25. She also leaves her sisters, Kristi, Tami, and Jami, as well as her brother, Steven.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis, and her brother, Tom—two loved ones whose reunion at heaven’s gate brought her great joy.

Visitation will be held at Northlawn United Methodist Church on Friday, September 19th, from 4:00–7:00 PM, with an additional visitation hour on Saturday, September 20th, from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM. The funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM, with food and fellowship immediately afterward.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, a cause close to Kelli’s heart, as she was a three-time kidney transplant recipient and passionate advocate for kidney health. 

Though she has gone home to be with the Lord, Kelli’s spirit lives on in the love she poured into her family and the countless lives she touched.
