Mr. Keith A. Packard, Jr., age 50, of Orleans, formerly of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. The son of Lorraine Violet (King) & Keith Arnold Packard, Sr., he was born with special needs on July 2, 1959 in Belding. An innocent child of God, Keith had worked at EBI Breakthrough in Belding and delighted in attending fairs and camping. In his death, Keith gave the gift of life by being an organ and tissue donor. He was preceded in death by his father, Keith A. Packard, Sr. in 1979. Surviving are his mother, Lorraine Packard; a brother, Kevin & Brenda Packard; a sister, Angela & Dale Vincent, all of Greenville; his foster parents, Jackie & Roger Barger of Orleans; an uncle and four aunts, Roger & Crystal Packard, Charlene Hansen, all of Ionia, Florence Martin and Loretta Merritt, both of Greenville; seven nieces and nephews; six great nieces and nephews; and many cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 17, 2009 from the Sanctuary of GLC Hope Ministries, Greenville, with a time of food and fellowship following.
