Kathy Sischo

Kathy Sue (Rietman) Sischo, age 70, of Jenison, Michigan passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was born January 30, 1954, in Grand Rapids, MI to the late John and Vera (Jones) Rietman. Kathy married the love of her life, Cal Vern Sischo on August 26, 1989, in Grand Blanc, and resided in Jenison. Kathy enjoyed crafting and swimming in her pool at the house. She loved being by water, especially the beach where she could sink her feet into the sand, but most of all she cherished spending time with her family and playing with the grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 34 years, Cal Sischo; children, Mitch (Renee) Hansen, Kelli (Phillip) Schutter, and Cal Sischo Jr.; grandchildren, Phoenix Hansen and Ainsley and Ethan Schutter; sister, Kim (Lee) Coon; niece, Jessica (Dustin) Bukosky; nephew, Dustin Coon; great-niece, Kayleigh Bukosky; great-nephew, Braxton Bukosky; brother-in-law, Thomas Sischo; sister-in-law, Pam Sischo; and many cousins, other relatives, and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vera; sister-in-law, Linda; and brothers-in-law, Terry, Jack, and Jim Sischo.
