Kathryn Anne "Kathy" Clifford, age 41, of Fenwick, passed away early Saturday morning, October 21, 2017 in the emergency room of Sheridan Community Hospital following multiple health challenges. The daughter of Jerome Edward & Patricia Alice (Stevens) Kroll, she was born on January 8, 1976 in Carson City. Kathy attended Davenport University and worked as a cashier at the Greenville Wal-Mart. On June 14, 2007, at the Mt. Hope United Brethren Church near Carson City, she married Anthony Dean Clifford.
She delighted in scenic car rides and tours around the state with her husband, reading and crossword puzzles, and watching movies. Kathy was a long time blood donor, having been recognized for donating over 5 gallons of blood, and even in death she gave the gift of life by being an organ and tissue donor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome Kroll; and her father-in-law, Ronald Wood. Surviving are her husband, Tony Clifford of Fenwick; their daughter, Taylor Clifford of Indiana; her mother, Patricia Kroll of Carson City; a sister and two brothers, Wanda Kroll of Carson City, Jeff Kroll of Trenton, Ohio and Mike Kroll of Haslett; mother-in-law, Mary Wood of Crystal; sister-in-law, Karen Wood & Frank Rutherford of Stanton; brother-in-law, David & Rachel Wood of Waterford; nieces, Anissa, Rylan, Veronica, Emily, Shyann, and Rebecca; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Christiansen Cremation & Funeral Care, 511 S. Franklin Street, Greenville, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rev. Kelly Munger, pastor of New Hope Church of God in Belding, will officiate and burial will take place privately on Friday at Fort Custer National Cemetery near Battle Creek.
