Karen Donahue

Karen L. Donahue, age 73, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Ada, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017 after years of battling cancer. She is finally at peace in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father and her son, Scott, who preceded her in death January 11, 2017. Karen is also preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Luella Kransi; brother, US Marine Vietnam Veteran Ronald T. Kransi; and in-laws Earl & Cora Donahue. Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years this November, Dan; daughter, Debbie (Scott) Donahue-Przekop; grandson, Austin Przekop-Abel; brothers, Harold (Sandy) Kransi of FL, and Roger (Debby) Kransi of TN; sister, Kaye (Owen) Wright of MI; sister-in-law, Mary Semon of MI; along with many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a cancer research hospital of your choice. Karen was last being treated at Spectrum Health's Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion in Grand Rapids. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
