Judy Richards

Judy Ellen Richards, age 56, of Carson City, passed away early Friday morning, January 19, 2018 at Sparrow Carson City Hospital. The daughter of Robert E. & Carol A. (Hoeksema) Borst, she was born on July 26, 1961 in Grand Rapids. On September 3, 1999, in Carson City, she married Dale E. Richards. Judy lived for adventure with her husband and neighbors while golf-carting through groomed trails between their yards. She also enjoyed "treasure hunting" at antique stores and flea markets. However, her greatest joy was time spent with her family, friends, and her three precious pugs, Scooter, Rosco, & Rocky. Surviving are her husband, Dale; her son, Jason & Angela Machado of Carson City; her daughter, Lisa & David Behrenwald of Lakeview; her parents, Robert & Carol Borst of Grandville; her sister, Nancy Borst of Wyoming; her brother, Paul Borst of Grandville; four grandchildren, Colin & Caleb Machado at home in Carson City and Kalyn & Kyler Behrenwald at home in Lakeview; and many other nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Relatives and friends are invited to a celebration of Judy's life beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the Fellowship Center at First Baptist Church, 10010 E.
