Judy Ann Pope

Judy Ann Pope, age 85, of Howard City, passed away Tuesday afternoon, November 11, 2025 at home under the care of her family and Corewell Health Hospice. The daughter of Loren & Mary (Sanger) VanNatter, she was born August 12, 1940 in Kent City, Michigan.

Judy had been a bus driver for Cedar Springs Public Schools and was an avid traveler. One of her many adventures was walking the glaciers at the north pole and she had also been on many tropical and Alaskan cruises over the years. When she was younger, she enjoyed tending to her garden, but her most treasured “flowers” were always her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard Pope; a great-granddaughter, Harley Okke; and all of her siblings, Doris, Wayne, John, Jean, Ila, and Max.

Surviving are her daughters, Anita & Robert Davis, Nola & Duane Beshada; a son, Fred Inman; five grandchildren, Ernest & Elaina Davis, Joseph Davis, Stephanie Davis, Zak Okke, and Ila Okke; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
