Juan Davis-Ledesma

Juan Antonio Davis - Ledesma, age 47, of Grand Rapids, passed away shortly after being diagnosed with cancer. Juan was born on September 26, 1971, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, to Antonio Davis Marte and Lucy Maria Ledesma Baez. He spent his early years in the Dominican before the family moved to the United States. Juan enjoyed reading and writing poetry in English, Spanish, and French, he like playing basketball and he loved computers. He will be greatly missed by his parents; sister, Carmen Post; brother, Jose Davis Ledesma; nephew, Gregory Post Davis; niece, Colinda Post Davis; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends from the United States, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 14, 2019, at Michigan Cremation and Funeral Care, 3627 Linden Avenue, S.E. at 36th Street, Grand Rapids, from 5:30PM until 7:30PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, at Iglesia Adventista Del Septimo Dia Monte Sion, 235 28th Street S.E., Grand Rapids, from 5:00PM until 5:45PM. The funeral service will be celebrated at the church on Friday at 6:00PM with Pastor Benjamin Calderon officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Michigan Cremation & Funeral Care, Grand Rapids.
