Joyce Thomson

Joyce Ann Thomson, age 70, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 in the emergency room of Spectrum Health-United Hospital, Greenville. She was born on April 20, 1939 in Maryland. Joyce had worked as a secretary with Eight-Cap of Greenville and had previosuly been a personnel manager for a Marriott Hotels in Virginia. While living at Friendship House in Greenville, Joyce enjoyed being the editor of their small newsletter. Joyce was preceded in death by her son, L. Scott Wilson on July 24, 2006. Surviving are her children, Deb & Vic Foster of Greenville, and Kim Hall and friend, Steve, of Sidney; eight grandchildren Scott Hall of South Carolina, Nick Muns of Sidney, Wendy Roberts of St. Johns, Kelly MacDonald of Gowen, Paul Roberts of Greenville, Beth Ann Wilson-Matthews of Comstock Park, Jessie Evans, and Corey Wilson, both of Greenville; twelve loving great-grandchildren; and the father of her children, Larry J. Wilson & Paula Brancheau of Greenville. Honoring her wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Joyces life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the needs of the family.
